A box for Crafty Individuals March Challenge

Hi folks,

Just sharing a box I have made using Crafty Individuals 6x6 Packground Papers Book 3 (Springtime) for their March box challenge. I can hardly bear to cut into these papers, they are just too pretty but as you can see, a little goes a long way and the dreamy colours provide a beautiful effect. I managed to use just one peice to cover the outside of the box - result!

I made the bottom of the box measuring 8cm x 8cm square with 5.5cm sides. I used a Magnolia die for the top and scored to fit the 8x8 bottom. I used the springtime papers to cover to box adding die cuts from Spellbinders and Martha Stewart before painting with Claudine Helmuth Gesso, Classic Teal and Landscape Green Studio Semi Gloss Acrylics. I painted through some netting to create a bit of texture.

Finishing touches were some acrylic gems from Paperchase, Rangers Ice Stickles in Mint Ice and felt trim from the Magnolia Vintage Box 2 kit.
