About me

Hi, I am Emma (AKA Vintage Milly) from England UK. As you come to will see, I am a bit of a craft fanatic. I have been crafting for many years, dabbling in jewellery making and homeware. But, I started making cards as a hobby about 3 years ago and I haven't stopped since. In the main, I enjoy stamping and my style has a nod towards the vintage shabby sort of style. I love all things colourful, pretty and whimsical and although I mainly enjoy stamping in my cardmaking, I have recently discovered digital stamps and I design a small range as a hobby, I hope that you will love them too.

I am very proud to design cards as a hobby for the Polkadoodles and Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge blogs and I used to design for The ABC challenge and Creative Inspirations before they closed down. You can read all about their challenges on my main page every week/fortnight. The cards I make for Polkadoodles are often shown on the television programmes Create and Craft and Ideal world every few weeks.

In Septemer 2011, I had my work published in the Christmas Boutique magazine issued by Practical Publishing I was so proud to see my work in print.

Just incase you were wondering, the opinions I express in this blog are my own, I have not been paid to promote products or companies. Also, I only promote what I like and enjoy using in my crafting in the hope that you might share the same interests as me.

So, at home here there is the three of us for the time being. I have a lovely fella who takes good care of me and he has a tough job sometimes tee hee! He would be so embarrassed if he knew his photo was on here, but I guess there is only me and you looking eh - isn't there?
We have a cute little tortoiseshell and white cat called Kinky - tee hee, did that make you giggle? Goodness knows why I called her that, but her pet name is Kinks , so it doesn't get too embarrassing when I call her in for her dinner. She is the grand old age of 19 now and is still as sprightly as a young kitty, this is her basking in the sunshine when we actually got some last summer.

I have begun a catalogue of Sketches, you can find them in the Sketches tab at the top of the front page. You are very welcome to use those whenever you want to, if you do use them, it would be lovely if you would put a little note in your blog that you found the sketch here.

I am so glad you came to see me,
Em.x
